Well, the only place this occurs is as the end of the #-style comment,  
so we would actually not saying anything at all about the number of  
lines, we'd just say that the first 0xD or 0xA ends the line. Any  
further 0xD or 0xA would then be whitespace, which is ignored, anyway.
