The x-generic node serves as the x endpoint of one or more Cx arcs. It does not serve as the endpoint for any other type of arc. It must either have at least one built-in SIDP value or its situation as a role player must confer a SIDP value upon it.

Properties of nodes should be specified in the standard. Possible to
include a note, but runs danger of inconsistent or confusion with other
text. Ideally should be stated once and only once in the standard.
