In SpaceApps, we are still working with Topic Maps. 

We started one project in February related to Digital Preservation in which we will develop things using Topic Maps. Next year, we will start another project in the security domain where it is planned to use Topic Maps as well. Due to these activities we will have for the next 3-4 years a modest budget (modest with respect to the standardization challenges ;-) to invest on standardization, and we are interested to push further TMQL.

Therefore, I would like to ask to add an item regarding the restarting of the TMQL project.

The next teleconference meeting of WG 6 will be during the SC 34
Plenary in Delft, on 2013-09-13 at 07:00 UTC (09:00 in Delft, 08:00 in
UK, 03:00 Eastern US, 16:00 Japan).

The agenda will be as follows:

1. Role Call

2. Proposals by Japan and UK for consolidation of WGs (including WG 3)

3. Future work on topic maps (in WG 3 or consolidated WG)

4. Adjournment

The restructuring proposals are:

N1899 (UK) and N1901 (Japan).

(Personal observation) The N1899 proposal does envision a WG to
continue development and maintenance of topic maps, mapping between
document representations and fonts/legacy presentation standards.

If you would like any items to be added to this agenda, please advise
me no later than one week before the meeting, when I will if necessary
distribute a revised agenda.

I propose to use the ISO teleconferencing service (WebEx) for this
meeting and will send out joining instructions shortly.
