Apologies if someone already have suggested this.
Would it be an idea to implement the definition of conditional associations in future versions of TMDM?
Example of a conditional association:
Let's say you have a genetic relation association between George W. Bush and George Bush, George W. Bush plays the role as the son and George Bush plays the role as the father. There is also a genetic relation association between George Bush and Prescott S. Bush, where George Bush plays the role as the son and Prescott S. Bush plays the role as the father. Now with these two associations in place the conditional association would be a genetic relation association between George Bush and Prescott S. Bush, where George Bush plays the role as grandson and Prescott S. Bush plays the role as grandfather. In other words; the grandpa-grandson association would be implicitly created by the conditional association definition in the ontology.
Have a nice weekend :)
Kind regards,
Inge.
