[sc34wg3] WANTED: Members for German SC34 mirror committee at DIN

Dear German Topic Mappers,
 
The German Standards Instutite DIN is on the way to establish a German mirror committee for ISO JTC1 SC34 (the "home" committee of the Topic Maps standards). It looks that we get the necessary five paying companies and organisations together. 
 
The responsible DIN board will decide on Sept 26 if NI-34 (official name for the DIN mirror committee) will be established (which is very likely). Kick-off meeting of NI-34 could take place in Oct / Nov 2006. Also very likely will be the status change of the German delagation at SC34 from "Observer" to "Particpant", which includes the right to vote.
 
If there are German companies and non-profit organisations (like research institutes) interested to join the committee and to provide input into the Topic Maps (or other SC34-related) standards work, please contact DIN
