[sc34wg3] TMDM / XTM 2.0 vs. XTM 1.0 "reification" procedure

Hi all,

Is my interpretation correct that in a Topic Map acc. TMDM a topic with
a subject identifier "foo" may exist and an other topic map construct
like a topic name with an item identifier "foo" may exist parallel?

The existence of the subject identifier "foo" and the item identifier
"foo" has no meaning?
And if the other topic map construct is also a topic it has still no
meaning?

In short:
a) Topic with subject identifier "foo", name with item identifier
   "foo" => no problem, no special meaning
b) Topic with subject identifier "bar", topic with item identifier
   "bar" => no problem, no special meaning
