The plan is to go to FDIS ballot on 13250 Part 3 early enough that we
have the result in time for the next meeting of WG3, which takes place =
in
Seoul, Korea on May 29-June 1 2006.
This has been our working assumption, that we could finish an FDIS =
ballot and
immediately meet to resolve the comments and so finish the process.
=20
We may have a problem. In looking at processing the FDIS on the OASIS =
ODF,
Ken reread the JTC1 Directives and found that we may have been violating =
the
rules. He posed the question to Lisa Rajchel, the JTC1 Secretariat, and =
she
replied:
Ken,
You are correct in that the Directives require a minimum of 2.5
months between the release of the voting results and the beginning of a =
BRM.=20
Ken is now looking at doing the BRM for ODF in Montreal.=20
=20
WG3 should check its schedule with Ken.
