REF: parid2197

TXT: A "role" node. The subject of an r-node is a role that can be
played in one or more assertions.

FIX: A role that is played in one or more assertions.

COM: Removed short sentence. Took at references to other parts of the
assertion mechanism.

END:

REF: parid2269

TXT: An r-node serves as the R endpoint of one or more CR arcs. Like all
nodes, it may serve as the x endpoint of of any number of Cx arcs. It
cannot serve as any other endpoint types.

FIX: Behavior: Serves as the R endpoint of CR, RC arcs. May serve as x
endpoint of any Cx arcs.

COM: Simplified explanation. "It cannot serve as any other endpoint
types." is superfluous. The definition says what arcs it can serve as an
endpoint and the point should not be belabored.

END:

REF: parid2200

TXT: A participation by a role player in an instance of an assertion.
Such a participation is always the subject of a c-node. Cf. role type.

FIX: Participation of a role player in an instance of an assertion.

COM: Deleted reference to "subject of c-node." That should be treated in
the prose and not the definition of role. Note later strike of role type.

END:
