Well, at least in part. ;-) I am not sure why the arguments of "some 
people" are of that much concern. I have always assumed that the 
operation of 13250 was not merely happenstance and like the fusion 
reaction in the sun, it works even if the theoretical basis has not been 
made explicit. The question of whether the SAM is ready for publication 
by London is a wholly separable question.

No, actually it was an attempt, ill-fated I see, to keep us exchanging 
real information and opinions and not polemics. If we want to exchange 
polemics, we really should setup a topicmap.rant.rant.alt newsgroup or 
some such. ;-) I enjoy polemic a good bit but don't think it advances 
work on the standard.

Enjoy! I have another couple of weeks before I hit the road. Almost a 
month's worth of non-travel which has been fairly novel.
